Exam, Presentation and Me

November 2008, most student in any 'Higher Learning Institution' (universiti la tuh) in Malaysia having their examination... the final exam!!! Juz like one of my frens said, 'Jadikkk, da moment bulan november dtg, kamu harus study lebey seket' (nada ayat ini, hy dak 4BMCA UTeM yg tahu).. hehehehe of corz la, during examination's week, we need to struggle with da book and strive to succed in our examination.

But for us, final year student of BMCA, we had more than examination. Not juz only on our examination paper, we have been burden with assignmentsesssssss (which mean, a lotttttttt), and automotive styling's day. Know what? our last paper is on 23 Nov and our styling's day is on 26 Nov.

Sounds like it would not bring a lot to us rite? but actually, we need to present our project that day in front of engineersessss and lecturersesssss which probably will came from industry and other universitiesessss.

At first, the project (famously known as stylingjing among BMCAs), is not as hard (bukan keras k, susah jek) as now... But since we will present the project to the industry representative (mybe) and lecturersesss, we need to do the best ( i mean very2 best). We must go through in details on every factors and aspects for our project. Even wut kind of fabric we used for passenger seat pun, must be explained...hurmmm

Our project actually is developing a design of our own concept car with the scale model. That project include the literature review in details on every aspect of interior and exterior and also the design of the car. Moreover, we need to do benchmarking study and came out with our concept car overall technical spec. Then, we need to determine the subject matter, sketches some ideas, develop a 3D model of the car included the interior and mock up the 1:10 scale model of the car.

Hurm, can u imagine, today is already 20 Nov, there are 6 days remain before we present our project, and until now, we just finished our sketching and solid model of the car. There are still much we need to do on our literature review and technical spec. Documentation and material for presentation.. hurm.. then, usually, to build up the 1:10 scale model wuld take as least one week for amatur like us. We will build the scale model using hard-sponge (not sure wut it called) as the main material, touch up until it become the car design we desire, then apply the car's cement to create a smooth surface, then paint it up.

Problem on buliding the scale model:

1- Lack of skills

2- Lack of experience

3- Dont know how to start

4- Dont know the process

5- We didnt started yet

6- We didnt buy the material yet

7- The cement and paint take a lot of time to dry

8- We still need to struggle for our last examination paper... huhuhuhu

So, did u think we will be able to finished our project? just wait and see until the defining moment! huhuhu
